What is in the kit
Everything needed to press 50×50mm square magnets from day one: the square magnet making machine, the matching die cutter, and a 100-piece starter set of raw materials. Nothing else to source before the first piece.
| Machine | 50 × 50mm square magnet press |
| Cutter | Matching 50 × 50mm die cutter |
| Starter materials | 100-piece raw material set |
| Power | None — manual lever press |
How it works
The press curls a metal front over the backing in a single lever stroke, trapping your printed square and a clear mylar film between them. There is no heat and no electricity: it is a lever and a pair of dies, which is why there is very little to go wrong and nothing to service.
The die cutter punches your printed sheet to the exact size the press expects. That step matters more than it sounds — a hand-cut square a millimetre out will crimp unevenly or jam the press, and it is the commonest cause of wasted materials for people starting out.
One machine, one size
Dies are size-specific and not interchangeable. This machine presses 50×50mm square components and nothing else — not 58mm rounds, not 44mm, not the rectangular name badge formats. Decide the size you expect to sell most of before you buy, because a second format means a second machine, not just different materials.
If you are unsure, 50×50mm squares are a sensible commercial starting point: they suit save-the-dates, photo magnets and business promotions, which are the highest-repeat orders in this trade.
Who buys one
Printers and stationery shops adding magnets to an existing counter, where the artwork is already being produced in-house. Event, wedding and photography suppliers who want to press on site. Schools and colleges running craft or enterprise programmes. And people starting a magnet business from home — which is a genuinely low-capital start, because after the machine the only running cost is raw materials and printing.
What you still need
A way to print your designs. Most people start with an ordinary inkjet or laser printer and good paper; the mylar film over the top hides a lot, but it cannot fix a low-resolution image. Beyond that, nothing.
Restocking and support
We stock 50×50mm square magnet raw materials continuously, so restocking is one order rather than a search. If you are weighing up which format to start with, message us on WhatsApp before you buy — we would rather talk it through than have you end up with the wrong die.
Delivery is 5–7 business days. The machine ships from Villivakkam, Chennai; local collection is welcome.
