The compact square. Small enough to hand out in quantity without the cost per piece climbing, large enough to carry a photograph, a date and a name. Built on a metal front with a flexible magnetic sheet backing, so the face is flat and the grip covers the whole back.

Which square, and why
We make squares at 50mm and 63.5mm, and the choice is mostly about quantity and content.
50mm is the giveaway size. If you are ordering two hundred save-the-dates or return gifts, the per-piece difference adds up, and 50mm still holds a cropped photo with a date under it perfectly well.
63.5mm is the display size. Choose it when the magnet has to carry a phone number readable across a kitchen, a calendar strip, or a photograph with more than one face in it.
If you are undecided and it is a photo of two people with a date, 50mm is enough.
Who orders them
Save-the-dates, which is the single biggest use — a photograph, the names and the date, posted out months ahead and still on the fridge on the morning of the wedding. Baby announcements and first-birthday favours. Business promotions and event giveaways. Housewarming and anniversary keepsakes.
Designing at 50mm
Crop tight before you send. A full-length photograph reduced to 50mm loses the faces entirely, and the crop we would guess at may not be the one you wanted — send it cropped the way you want it printed.
Text below roughly 8pt becomes hard work at this size, so keep it to a name and a date rather than a paragraph. Build to 50×50mm with a few millimetres of bleed on every edge, at 300 DPI or higher, in JPG, PNG, PDF or AI.
Full-colour CMYK: bright screen colours can shift slightly and neons and metallics cannot be reproduced. It will not hold on a stainless steel fridge door, which is a property of the fridge rather than the magnet.
Bulk pricing and delivery
Rates step down at each quantity tier and designs can be mixed inside one order at the combined rate — which is what most wedding orders do. Standard delivery 5–7 business days from artwork approval, 2–3 day express to select pin codes.
