The display square

63.5mm is noticeably larger than the 50mm square — enough that a phone number becomes readable from across a kitchen, and enough for a photograph with more than one face in it. That is the whole reason to stock both sizes: 50mm is what people order by the hundred, 63.5mm is what they order when the magnet has a job to do.

It carries a higher per-piece price and meets less resistance, because the customer choosing it has usually already decided the magnet is the marketing rather than the favour.

Who orders the larger square

Tourism and city souvenir sellers. Restaurants and cafés branding delivery orders. Schools and colleges producing memorabilia. Local service businesses that want a number on the fridge door. Wedding suppliers whose customer wants the venue and the date legible, not just a photograph.

The magnet sheet

Full-area and self-adhesive. On a face this size a centre-disc magnet would be a mistake — a large flat piece needs grip spread across the back or it creeps downward on a door that gets opened hard. Peel, position, press firmly, then crimp; there is no glue and no drying time.

As with every magnet, it will not hold on a stainless steel fridge door. Worth telling a customer before they order three hundred.

Cutting

Use the matching square die cutter. Square stock is less forgiving than round — a cut a degree out shows along the edge because the eye reads the parallel line. Check the first piece of each run before committing the rest.
