Are the colours accurate to my design?

The rectangular name badge, magnet-backed

The same 68×24mm name badge as our pin version, fastened with a shirt magnet instead. A magnet bar sits behind the fabric and clamps it against the badge, so nothing pierces the cloth.

This is the version to order when staff wear their own clothes. A pin through a personal saree, silk kurta or blazer lapel is a real cost to the person wearing it, and the usual outcome is that the badge quietly stops appearing after the first week.

Who orders them

The common thread is staff in their own clothing rather than a supplied uniform — that is the entire reason this version exists.

Practical notes

Keep the badge and its backing bar together when it comes off; a backing bar loose in a drawer is a backing bar lost. Keep both away from credit cards, hotel key cards and magnetic-stripe IDs — these are real magnets and will wipe a stripe on contact. Anyone with a pacemaker or implanted cardiac device should be given the pin version instead.

Sending a list of names

For a staff run, send a plain list — spreadsheet or WhatsApp message — with each person's exact name and designation, plus one design showing the layout and where the logo sits. We set every name into that template. Do not send forty separate files; the list is faster and far less error-prone.

Check spellings before sending. Reprinting a single badge from a run of forty costs more per piece than the original forty did.

If you are laying it out yourself: 68×24mm at 300 DPI or higher, a few millimetres of bleed on every edge, JPG, PNG, PDF or AI. Set the name as the largest element — a logo competing with the name defeats the point of a name badge.
