The hook badge — no pin, no magnet
A 58mm printed badge with a moulded hook on the back instead of a pin. It hangs from a shirt pocket, a placket, a lanyard, a bag strap or a belt loop. Nothing pierces the fabric and there is no magnet involved, which makes it the one pin-free option that is safe around magnetic cards and cardiac devices.
It is also our cheapest 58mm badge at volume, which is why it is the usual choice when several hundred are being handed out.

What it hangs from
The hook needs an edge to grip: a shirt pocket rim, a buttoned placket, the edge of a kurta pocket, a lanyard cord, a bag strap, a belt loop. It will not attach to the middle of a flat t-shirt — there is nothing there to hook onto. If your crowd will be in plain t-shirts, order the pin or the shirt-magnet version instead.
Where it wins
Schools, because there is no pin for a child to open and nothing magnetic to lose. Colleges handing out several hundred fest badges on a budget. Hospitals and labs, where staff carry magnetic-stripe access cards that a magnetic badge would wipe. Anyone with a pacemaker or implanted cardiac device, for whom a magnetic badge is not an option.
It is also the practical choice for anything worn over a bag or a lanyard rather than on clothing — volunteer identification at a large event, for instance, where badges get handed between shifts.
Artwork
Send at 300 DPI or higher in JPG, PNG, PDF or AI. Build to a 68mm circle and treat the outer 5mm as bleed — background should run to the edge of that full circle, since the ring wraps around the dome and is not visible head-on.
One thing specific to this back: the badge hangs rather than sits, so it swings a little and is read at a slight angle. Keep the design centred and simple, and avoid layouts that only make sense perfectly upright.
Printing is full-colour CMYK. Bright screen colours can shift slightly; neons and metallics cannot be reproduced.
