Button badge and fridge magnet raw materials

Component sets for anyone pressing their own badges — printers, event suppliers, schools running craft programmes, and people building a badge business. Each set is machine-ready: a tin-plated steel shell, a clear mylar film, and the back you choose.

What is in a set

The shell and mylar are common to every set; the back is what changes. We supply pin backs for standard badges, magnet backs for fridge magnets, black magnet with pin for people who need both, hook backs, keyring backs, shirt magnet sets in one-piece and three-piece versions, and bottle-opener backs.

Sizes cover 44mm and 58mm round, 50×50mm and 63.5×63.5mm square, 68×24mm rectangular name badge in both pin and magnet versions, and 90×65mm rectangular.

What you need alongside them

A badge press in the matching size, and a circle cutter. Badge components cannot be assembled by hand — the crimp that curls the shell over the back plate needs the press. A 58mm press will not press 44mm components; each size needs its own die. If you do not have a machine yet, our badge making machine kits ship with the press, the cutter and a starter pack of materials.

Ordering

Raw materials are priced per set and drop at each quantity tier — the economics of pressing your own only work at volume, so the tiers reward it. Standard delivery is 5–7 business days, with 2–3 day express to select pin codes. Tell us the size and back type you need and we will confirm stock before you order.
