A name badge has one job: make it obvious who someone is and what they do. 68×24mm rectangular is the format built for that — a name on one line, a designation under it, and your logo alongside.
Pin or pin-free?
This is the decision that determines whether the badges get worn after the first week.
A pin is fine on a uniform shirt or an apron that the company supplies. On a saree, a silk kurta, a blazer or anything a staff member bought themselves, a pin leaves a hole — and people quietly stop wearing the badge rather than raise it.
A shirt magnet clamps the fabric between two magnets and pierces nothing. The one-piece round magnet suits light shirting on someone mostly at a desk. The three-piece bar spreads the grip wider: choose it for blazers, heavy uniforms, and anyone on their feet all day, because a single round magnet lets the badge slowly rotate face-down over a shift.
One exception: anyone with a pacemaker or implanted cardiac device should be given a pin or hook badge, not a magnetic one.
Running a list of names
Send a plain list — a spreadsheet or even a WhatsApp message — with each person's exact name and designation, plus one design showing the layout and where the logo sits. We set every name into that template.
Do not send one image file per person; the list is faster and far less error-prone. And have someone check the spellings before it goes to print, because reprinting a single badge from a run of forty costs more per piece than the original forty did.
Individual names at bulk rates
A run where every badge carries a different name still prices at the combined quantity. You are not penalised for each badge being unique, which is the usual worry when a company with sixty staff asks for a quote.
Reordering
Staff change, and a name badge order is never really finished. We keep your layout on file, so a reorder for three new joiners is a message with three names rather than starting again. Standard delivery is 5–7 business days from approval, with 2–3 day express to select pin codes.
